Wes joined FP Complete as CEO in 2019. He has over 30 years of experience in the software, service, and consulting. Wes comes with the mission of scaling the company and solidifying FP Complete as an industry leader and innovator. He is influencing the companies moves into advanced solutions and technologies in DevOps, Blockchain, and Functional Programming. Wes previously served as COO of TCG Consulting, a strategic advisory and management services firm focused on driving transformation, integration, and optimization of global Travel, Meetings, Payments and Expenses. In addition, Wes was held leadership roles at CGI and Capgemini. Wes was formerly the founder and President of two system integration companies, Infinium, LLC, and Artisyn, LLC.
Wes received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in Electrical Engineering Technology. He is also an active advisor to several start-up companies in the technology and healthcare services industry.
Aaron Contorer, Chairman
Aaron is a former executive of Microsoft, where he served as program manager for distributed systems and general manager of Visual C++, the leading software development tool at that time. He architected MSN’s move to Internet-based server software, served as the full-time technology adviser to Bill Gates, and founded and ran the company’s Productivity Tools Team for complex software engineering projects. Before founding FP Complete, he served as CTO at Web analytics firm Mentico, optimization firm Hynomics, and secure election systems firm Everyone Counts.
Aaron has 18 patents in computer security and distributed systems and now spends his time helping innovative companies adopt more advanced software technology.
Early in his career, Aaron was one of the creators of the “shareware” software business model, and one of the first programmers at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications where he helped to write NCSA Telnet, later a part of Internet Explorer.
When not at work, Aaron runs the charitable Contorer Foundation which supports the development of new philanthropists and more effective nonprofit organizations. In San Diego, Aaron was named Environmental Leader of the Year by Channel 10 News. In Seattle, he helped to build the Kirkland Teen Union Building and served for eight years on the board of Sightline Institute.
Michael Snoyman, Vice President of Engineering
Michael Snoyman serves as Vice President of Engineering for FP Complete. Through his career, Michael has managed and worked on a wide variety of software projects, including distributed systems, medical devices, web applications and actuarial analysis tooling. He is a prolific author of open source projects and founded many of the foundational libraries and tools powering Haskell software.
Additionally, Michael is passionate about education and regularly gives training courses on applied Haskell. He is the author of books teaching both the Rust and Haskell programming languages. He is a regular speaker and author around topics including functional programming, static code analysis, DevOps practices, and the boundary between engineering and business management.
Michael is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Actuarial Sciences. He raises his four kids with his wife Miriam.
