Wes joined FP
Complete as CEO in 2019. He has over 30 years of
experience in the software, service, and
consulting. Wes previously served as COO of TCG
Consulting, a strategic advisory and management
services firm focused on driving transformation,
integration, and optimization of global Travel,
Meetings, Payments and Expenses. In addition, Wes
was held leadership roles at CGI and Capgemini. Wes
was formerly the founder and President of two
system integration companies, Infinium, LLC, and
Wes comes to FP Complete with the mission of
scaling the company and solidifying them as an
industry leader and innovator in the DevOps and
DevSecOps space. He is influencing the company’s
moves into advanced solutions and technologies in
DevOps, Blockchain, and Functional Programming.
Wes received a Bachelor of Science Degree from
Texas A&M University in Electrical Engineering
Technology. He is also an active advisor to several
start-up companies in the technology and healthcare
Michael Snoyman, Vice President of Engineering
Michael Snoyman serves as Vice President of
Engineering for FP Complete. Through his career,
Michael has managed and worked on a wide variety of
software projects, including distributed systems,
medical devices, web applications and actuarial
analysis tooling. He is a prolific author of open
source projects and founded many of the
foundational libraries and tools powering Haskell
Additionally, Michael is passionate about
education and regularly gives training courses on
applied Haskell. He is the author of books teaching
both the Rust and Haskell programming languages. He
is a regular speaker and author around topics
including functional programming, static code
analysis, DevOps practices, and the boundary
between engineering and business management.
Michael is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in
Actuarial Sciences. He raises his four kids with
his wife Miriam.
Aaron Contorer, chairman and cofounder
FP Complete chairman and cofounder Aaron Contorer has been CTO, CEO, or Chairman of 5 tech startups, and a Fortune 500 executive. He is a recognized strategy expert and speaker on DevOps, security, software engineering, and technology team building, and has helped to build and secure services ranging from major consumer portals, to stock market analytics, to medical systems, to the Oscars and the Emmys.
Aaron served as technology adviser to CEO Bill Gates at Microsoft, and was general manager of Microsoft’s productivity tools team and of the software engineering tool Visual C++. He was an R&D manager and architect on the creation of MSN and parts of Windows, Exchange, and Active Directory.
Previously, he co-created the "shareware" business model at Contorer Computing, and was one of the original Internet software engineers at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, contributing code to what became Microsoft Internet Explorer 1.0. An early student of artificial intelligence, Aaron holds degrees in computer science and cognitive psychology, and is an inventor on 18 patents focusing on security and data.
Aaron also serves as Managing Partner at startup investment and company-building firm Greatscale Ventures, which he cofounded with Tyson McDowell. He has been interviewed at length in the Wall Street Journal, Venture Capital Journal, Business Insider, Seattle Times, San Diego Union-Tribune, and other publications.
A seasoned community leader, Aaron has been chairman or board member at 6 nonprofit corporations, and chairs the Contorer Foundation.
A native of Chicago and former long-time resident of Seattle, he is a certified scuba diver and sailboat pilot who lives by the beach in La Jolla, California, with his wife, fellow technology executive, investment manager, and leadership consultant Lori Contorer. He can often be spotted in his wetsuit swimming with the abundant local sea life.
